Halloween Parties in Austin
That time of year to throw on your Halloween gear and venture out in the streets of Austin to paint town blood red. Halloween falls on a Thursday this year, which means we get to celebrate it starting this weekend. Here’s some events we recommend and as always, all of these events are on The House app! Open The House app, click “Day” in the top left and you can now click on any day of the week up to 7 days in advance to see what’s going on for the whole week.
Saturday, October 26th:
Barrel O’ Fun at Alamo Drafthouse Mueller: Anime Afternoon: Halloween Party - 3pm - 5pm.
October's Anime Afternoon is a celebration of Halloween! Join Barrel O' Fun and Okashicon by Texas Anime for an afternoon of cosplay, trivia, crafts and more! This event is free and fun for all ages.
The Highball: Highballoween: Haunted Circus - 9pm - 2am.
Austin's BIGGEST, BADDEST, CRAZIEST Halloween party is BACK! This year - a haunted circus of immense proportions! Indulge in the darkness! Be terrified under the big top!
The Iron Bear: Halloween Party - 9pm - 2am.
Welcome to a night of Halloween fun for the adults! Come in costume or not, join the fun! Amateur costume contest at midnight and much more.
Sunday, October 27th:
Sellers Underground: Sunday Funday w/ the Beckies - 3pm - 6pm.
Maeve Haven and Alysha Pretty are excited for another Sunday Funday at Sellers Underground - this time, we're going spoopy! Join us for games, performances, drink specials, and more. We'll be there in costume, getting in the Halloween spirit, so join us for a spoopy and creppy good time! This time, it's Sunday Funday with the BOOckies! (GET IT? BOO-ckies??!)

Half Step: Bartender Broil: Halloween Edition - 6pm - 9pm.

Blue Owl Brewing: Owloween! - 12pm - 10pm.
Enjoy a candy beer pairing then spin the Hallowheel for your chance to win a trick or a treat. Could be candy, could be something spooky! At 7 PM we'll be holding a costume contest for the best dressed as their favorite Blue Owl beer. At 9 PM join our SpoOoky Night Owl Brewery Tour. Reserve your spot today! Buford's Backyard Beer Garden: Halloween Costume Contest - 4pm - 2am.
Come celebrate Halloween at Buford's this year! 1st place winner of our costume contest gets $500. 2nd place gets $300. 3rd place gets $200.
Seven Grand: 0027: A Bond Halloween - 5pm - 12am.
Join us for a 007 themed Halloween Party featuring Jack Daniels No. 27 Gold. El Chilito (Manchaca): Dia de los Muertos Festival - 5:30pm - 8:30pm.
Kids of all ages can participate in activity stations including miniature pumpkin painting, marigold making and face painting + we will build a Día de los Muertos altar and celebrate our loved ones and offer #tacoblessings.
