The Nashville Farmers’ Market will host its 7th Annual Farmhand Dinner on Wednesday, October 23, at 6pm.
The event will bring together farmers, friends, and community to celebrate the end of a successful harvest season. Our Farmhand Dinner offers guests the opportunity to learn more about the Nashville Farmers' Market while enjoying a community hour hosted by the Friends of NFM and Lockeland Table in The Picnic Tap's Biergarten, followed by a family-style five-course meal with the men and women who produced it and the chefs who prepared it.
The menu, inspired by a typical dinner that was historically provided to farm workers at the end of a long day in the fields, will include cornbread and catfish along with all the Southern fixins — prepared by an amazing line-up of chefs who support NFM farmers and artisans:
Hal Holden-Bache, waterbreak hors d'oeuvres Margot McCormack, salad Course Kahlil Arnold, catfish and cornbread Tandy Wilson, catfish and cornbread Crystal De-Luna Bogan, macaroni and cheese Tyler Brown, coleslaw Trey Cioccia, Southern greens Ed Smith, white beans and onions Rebekah Turshen, dessert plate
Seasonal cocktails, craft beer, and Tennessee wine pairings will be provided by The Picnic Tap and Natchez Hill Winery.
Tickets are available now starting at $100 per person.
To reserve a table, consider becoming a Pollinator Sponsor ($1000) and receive a reserved table for up to eight guests plus recognition at the event. Large parties should consider purchasing the exclusive Harvest Table Sponsorship ($3,000) and its reserved seating for up to 24 guests, a photo opportunity with one or more of our participating chefs, a gift for each of your guests and recognition during the program.
