Biography: Sometimes in life you just need a change. That could not have been truer for Chad Bearden. After spending more than a decade serving and protecting the citizens of Alabama, Chad left it all behind to chase a dream he had burning inside him since he was a child.

Surrounded by a musical family, Chad grew up up on a small farm in Grant, Alabama. His Great-Grand Parents both played guitar, mandolin and piano. The family would often gather at their house to play and sing, mostly traditional southern gospel music and a little blue grass. There was no doubt at even a young age that possessed a talent for singing. At age 14 he was given a guitar for Christmas from his father.

Chad spent day and night studying and practicing chords he had learned from friends at school. He would literally play until his fingers bled trying to string the chords together to form songs he had written.

At age 15 Chad started his first band and experienced the taste of life on the road. Playing worship music at churches and events, the band traveled across the south until he graduated high school.

After graduation Chad began a career in law enforcement that lasted for more than eleven years working every side of the business from being a K9 handler, to a narcotics agent, to a patrol supervisor. Chad worked for the police department during the day and played shows in local bars and restaurants at night. After several years moonlighting as a country artist Chad quickly becoming one of the top bands in the area and he began to explore bigger options. He ultimately decided to make the move to music city and leave all he had built behind.

After only a couple weeks in Nashville Chad met Shannon Willis and the two formed the duo "Whiskey and Lace". They released one single "Can't Get Over You" which became a HIGHWAY FIND on SiriusXM The Highway. The duo spent 2014 touring coast-to-coast playing with acts such as Cassadee Pope, Zac Brown, Brett Eldredge and was featured in PEOPLE Magazine for a performance with Dancing with the Stars sensation Julianne Hough.

In late 2014 the duo decided to part ways musically and start solo careers. In June 2015 Chad released his first solo single "Six Pack" and began touring and recording his new solo album. Chad’s second EP will be released in 2016 featuring four songs he wrote or co-wrote. Also expect to see some collaborations with artists you already know and love.

Combining country, rock, pop and even the occasional hip-hop medley in his show, Chad has found a unique energy that fans gravitate toward. From the honkytonks of Nashville’s Lower Broadway to theaters, clubs and arenas all across the country, Chad has discovered a way to connect to fans in a special form. Allowing an escape from reality and transporting audiences to a place where people can simply be themselves to get lost in music they love. Chad’s show is like a crazy roller coaster ride that takes you on twists and turns in every emotional direction and then will leave you wanting more; waiting for you next chance to take the crazy ride all over again.
