We're mighty excited to be returning to our home away from home, Ghost Train Brewing Company, for the first time in a few months, and we hope you'll join us!
Biography: Cottonmouth Creek is a folksy but edgy little ol' acoustic roots band based in Birmingham, Alabama. While our bluegrass roots are deep, we also like to get off the reservation a bit with adaptations of songs from various other genres, as well as our own original Americana tunes. We most assuredly won't let you go to sleep.
We focus on tightly-blended vocal harmonies, supported by traditional bluegrass instrumentation: banjo, mandolin, guitar, and bass. Visually, we're not too pretty, but we do clean up pretty good.
We hope you'll come out to one of our shows. Do it soon; we're not getting any younger. And, we're available to play at your bluegrass festival, club, party, wedding reception, pea shellin', or possum hunt.
