What began as a few friends playing songs along the banks of the Fox River in northern Illinois has formed to become the high-energy bluegrass/newgrass band that is River Valley Rangers. With a love of the great outdoors, river-valleys, adventure, good times, and good friends, the Rangers bring a passion to their music that you can feel in your heart all the way down to your feet. Having played as direct support for: Jeremy Garrett of the Grammy Award-winning The Infamous Stringdusters, the Grammy Award-winning The Travelin' McCoury's, and Grammy-nominated Special Consensus, as well as having shared the bill with artists including Horseshoes & Hand Grenades, Jeff Austin Band, Blue Highway, The Hillbenders, Rumpke Mountain Boys, and many more, the Rangers continue to build a loyal following within the bluegrass, jam, and festival scene.
