Between beach closures, struggling restaurants, truncated sports seasons and cancelled concerts, 2020 is a summer unlike many previous. But, as in all things, we will find a way to prevail! Chatt Taste Food Tours & OddStory Brewing are excited to offer you a full city block of tasty bites, refreshing beer, and creative cocktails from local businesses in an effort to strengthen the community in our neighborhood and give you a safe and socially distanced reason to party. Stroll the street to live music while enjoying bites and beverages from local favorites like :Proof Bar & Incubator, Chatt Smokehouse and more. Help support local businesses in our community while giving back! Safety :Keeping you safe is our priority. Guests can expect routinely cleaned dining areas, participation caps, and time slots for distancing. Sanitation stations for guest use will be available. To ensure proper distancing, registration is required. In order to be compliant with city/county ordinances please wear a mask when not seated. This is an outdoor event to promote best safety practices. Tickets: Purchase food/ drink tickets from 4 conveniently located ticket stations. Exchange your ticket at participating restaurants for your choice of food and beverage. You'll be able to try it all as all options will be prepared in half-size portions. Thank You! Your participation benefits over 9 locally owned vendors, restaurants, and bars. All proceeds of the MLK Boulevard Block Party will go to Thyme&Culture - Chatt Taste Cooking Academy. Thyme&Culture is a grassroots program to provide neighborhood children with food boxes and virtual cooking classes. Launching January 2021!
Under the streets of Chattanooga lies the odd level of a city long ago claimed by the wild and untamed waters of the Tennessee River. Inspired by this mysterious piece of Chattanooga's history, along with a love for the conversational aspect of beer drinking, OBC came to life and planted its roots on MLK Blvd.
