STAlocal So Hoppy Together Release

Sat 11/23/19 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM CST

Join us for the release of our next #STAlocal collaboration brew, So Hoppy Together! On November 23rd come out and try this brand new brew created by Food Bank of North Alabama, Liquid Caravan, Big Ed's Pizza, and Fow Wow! We'll be tapping the beer at 11am, and then at 7pm we'll be hosting a party in the gym featuring live music from Liquid Caravan! The release party is free to attend and all ages are welcome!

About the beer: This English Special Bitter stands out from others with the use of the HBC-472 hop. The flavor is exceptionally unique, woody, and herbal, with vanilla aromas and a mix of floral and tropical fruit. Imparts an oaky/bourbon wood aged character to beer, making it flavorful yet refreshing.

About #STAlocal : The goal is simple – work with local community organizations and artists outside of the brewing industry to come together and create a brand-new beer. Collaboration and community are at the heart of Straight to Ale, and we are looking forward to bringing people who inspire us into the brewery and sharing in our passion of brewing great beer.

Straight To Ale

Founded by local home brewers in 2009, Straight to Ale has quickly grown to become one of Alabama’s largest production breweries. Starting small with a 3 Barrel brewhouse in 500 square feet in Huntsville’s Historic Lincoln Mill, we realized that we greatly underestimated Alabama’s thirst for locally produced craft beer and moved into a 10,000 square foot production facility on Leeman Ferry Road in south Huntsville. Over the next few years we added more and more fermentation capacity in that location until it was full, reaching 1,000 barrels of capacity. Though this location is no longer in operation, it was an integral step in our expansion.
