PUCKETT’S SUNDAY SHOWCASE HOSTED BY MARCUS WHYBREW FEATURING KEATHLEY 7.21.19 Keathley was born in Fort Worth, TX and grew up in Pine Bluff, AR. He always loved music, but got a late start as a musician. At the age of 15 he started beating on drums as a hobby after school. After borrowing his cousin’s drum set for a talent show, that was all she wrote, he’s been playing ever since. After numerous bands in high school and college, there was an extended period where he found himself not playing with anyone. After getting frustrated, he bought a guitar and taught himself chords. Soon after he got comfortable playing chords and started composing songs from written word pieces that had accumulated over the years. After years of playing professionally in Little Rock and around Arkansas, Keathley recently made the move to Nashville, TN. He now has a diverse and eclectic catalog of cover and original material which he performs as a one man band. Keathley mixes Blues, Rock, Country, Folk, Americana and Blue Grass into a blender hits purée. Leaving you with a tasty original concoction of southern Soul food for the ears. You can hear the thunderous stomp of the kick drum, lightening fast strum of the guitar, intoxicating hum of the harmonica and the gravelly rasp of his voice from a mile away!
