From playing his first ever gig at the legendary Blue Monkey in Sunderland, over 20+ years ago, eXcel has become one of the music scene's True Legends. Self-taught from the age of just 16, his popularity soon grew and the passion and love for the music he not only played but produced, was heard every time he performed. From the beginning of his journey in the North East of England, it wouldn't be long before he would be performing in Ibiza.. and he did!! In 1994, eXcel appeared at E.D.E.N on The Prodigy Summer Tour.. that same year he also playing at Mayday in Germany for some 40,000 people, playing alongside Moby, Westbam and Carl Cox.
