It's time for another fun evening of Kolsch Service on our patio , weather permitting. Kolsch is a regional specialty beer from the city of Cologne, Germany. One of the rituals of Kolsch is that it is served in a rather unique fashion.
In Cologne, Kölsch is traditionally served in a tall, thin, glass called a Stange. Your server carries twelve Stanges on a circular tray. Instead of waiting to order a refill, your server immediately replaces an empty Stange with a full one, marking a tick on your coaster under the Stange. When you do admit defeat and do not want another refill, place your coaster on top of your empty Stange. You then pay for the number of beers marked on the coaster.
Join us on the patio Thursday, June 20th as we provide you with our unique Kolsch service with your host, Zack Roskop. We have live music scheduled from 7pm to 10pm and the kitchen will be serving up some German fare like Bratwurst, Currywurst and of course Bavarian style pretzels and beer cheese.
Last Days of Autumn is a local brewery with a taproom serving unique beers to Knoxville. Our taps will be constantly changing. Come join us for a flight!
