Belmont/Hillsboro is a relaxed neighborhood with cozy cafes, hip eateries and cocktail bars in Hillsboro Village and along Belmont Boulevard. Students from Belmont University and nearby Vanderbilt University gravitate to indie clothes shops and the nonprofit Belcourt Theatre for classic and arthouse movies. The elegant, 1850s-built Belmont Mansion is now a museum, with restored rooms and original furnishings.
