2019 Christmas Events in Chattanooga
It’s that time of year to whip out the egg nog, throw on Christmas Vacation and get all your shopping done with 1 click on Amazon, but once you’ve knocked that out, get out of the house and on The House app for all the Christmas events in Chattanooga. Here’s a list of what’s going on leading up to Christmas Day. We'll be updating this list with more events as we hear about them on our blog at eatonthehouse.com but here’s what we’ve got so far:
Thursday, December 12th
Miller Plaza - Holiday Market 5:30pm to 7:30pm
It's the most wonderful time of the year! Come to the Waterhouse Pavilion in Miller Plaza for holiday music, shopping and more. A variety of retailers will be on-site with unique and local holiday gifts. You'll also be serenaded as you shop by Chattanooga High School Center for Creative Arts Jazz Ensemble. They'll start the night off with a collection of holiday tunes and the Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences Middle School Choirs will follow with a grand piano provided by Summitt Pianos.
Vendors include: elea blake cosmetic studio, Cocoa Asant, Alecia Vera Art, Nooga Paws, Holy Man Beard Essentials, Mixed Metal Works, Crowns and Heights, The Cupcake Club, Keeody Gallery, Lost Art Design, Calamansi Cafe, Center MedSpa, & Divine Purity. Fresh wreaths will also be for sale from Blue Ivy Flowers. The Mad Priest will be on hand to serve wine and beer for you to enjoy while you shop. Enjoy this unique holiday shopping experience in the middle of Downtown Chattanooga!
Saturday, December 14th
The Edwin Hotel - Sitting with Santa - 10am to 2pm
Join us for a special visit from Mr. Claus himself! Santa will be available for photos with your children.. or your fur children! A photobooth will be available for printed 4X6 photos but you may also take your own.
Other offerings: Hot chocolate bar with all the fixings & Christmas cookies. Write your letters to Santa. We will mail them to the North Pole for you!
Santa Claus Pub Crawl - 3pm to Late Night
Last year, you donated more than 2000 toys and more than $5000 to benefit The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program. This downtown party allows Chattanooga-area adults to mingle and celebrate the holidays while supporting a great cause! All you need to participate is a toy (BRAND NEW & UNWRAPPED) for a child for Christmas and FESTIVE ATTIRE.
PLEASE BRING AN UNWRAPPED TOY!

10:00- Late Night - SOUTHSIDE SOCIAL, REGAN'S PLACE & WESTBOUND BAR
Busses will run from the Southside to Downtown from 5:00-7:00. Raffles will happen at all locations. Drink & food specials will be at all locations during their scheduled times. Same as years past, we'll have Salvation Army Angel Tree receptacles at each stop on the crawl, so bring your toys to give to children in need!
Thursday, December 19th
London Calling - Christmas Pop-Up - 5pm to 2am
HO HO HO ya Hos...For ONE NIGHT ONLY we are going get in the Christmas spirit here at LC! Just kidding - we will be in the Christmas spirit all December for we are going to go annoyingly BIG on December 19th! Imagine a winter wonderland filled with Christmas cheer and festive cocktails right here in Chattanooga. Candy canes, tinsel, lights, cocktails in Christmas mugs, a festive hot dog, the best damn eggnog you have ever tasted all played to the delightful sounds of Maria Carey played on repeat. Santa Claus himself might even make an appearance if you are naughty enough! Sounds awful right?! But you secretly love Christmas and don't wanna be anywhere else when LC REALLYYY gets its Christmas on. As always, you know the drinks will be fire and it will be hella fun so dust off that Santa hat and join us! Big festive love, LC Fam.
Saturday, December 21st
The Naked River Brewing Company - Tacky Christmas Party - 6pm to 10pm
We're doing it again! Come hang at Naked River in your tackiest Christmas attire! It could be that terrible Christmas sweater, dress up as your drunk uncle, get a group together and come as the worst elves, get creative with it! It's like halloween at Christmas! There will be specials, prizes, music featuring Jerry Fordham, and an all around tacky time! Party starts at 6pm and goes till we shut down! (so, like 10pm)
WanderLinger Brewing Company - Danimal's Ugly Christmas Sweater Party - 8pm to midnight
Whip out the ugly sweater and come listen to great tunes from Danimal!
Sunday, December 22nd
Barking Legs Theater - Robin Grant: Merry Christmas Jazz - 7pm to 9pm
Vocalist Robin Grant brings her considerable talents to bear on the music of the season, along with her very talented bandmates in The Standard.

Monday, December 23rd
Heaven & Ale Brewing - 1st Annual Festivus Celebration - 12pm to 11pm
We're putting up our unadorned aluminum pole and celebrating the perfect secular theme for an all-inclusive December gathering. Please have a prepared list of how all your friends and loved ones have disappointed you, because we're setting up a mic for the Airing of Grievances Station. Also be prepared to exert your dominance as we hold Feats of Strength throughout the day. And don't be surprised if you see a few Festivus miracles along the way!

Trivia Night! And everything will be dedicated to all your favorite xmas themed movies!!! All of em....
Tuesday, December 24th - Christmas Eve
Tupelo Honey Cafe - Christmas Eve Brunch - 9am to 4pm
Rolling out the famous brunch menu for Christmas Eve until 4pm!
The Edwin Hotel - Christmas Eve at The Edwin - Regular Hours
Whitebird and Whiskey Thief will be offering special Christmas Eve menus featuring a variety of holiday cocktails. We will be open regular business hours, so join us for a holiday treat!
Wednesday, December 25th - Christmas Day
Whitebird - Christmas Day Buffet - 10am to 2pm
Join us on Christmas Day for a Christmas feast. Enjoy traditional Christmas Day dishes with your family and friends. $49 per person. Price is all-inclusive, excluding alcoholic beverages. Seating’s available from 10 am – 2 pm. Make reservations on The Edwin Hotel's website.
