Gear Night is a safe zone and welcoming of everyone in the community.
We will have our regular clothes check downstairs from 10 pm to 1:30 am. Donations greatly appreciated.
Austin Gears has three simple guidelines: 1) You can wear whatever gear you like -- even if there's a theme. Participating in street clothes is fine too. 2) Gear Night is a safe zone where people can express themselves with no fear of persecution. No one has a perfect body or perfect gear, so negative comments about someone's physique or gear is highly discouraged. 3) Respect all participants’ personal space
That being said, please remember to keep your gear street legal, in accordance with the guidelines we have been given. What are those guidelines, you ask? Your bits must be covered! If you're not sure whether you're street legal, please consult the clothes check or any Council member.
