Tickets - www.sushi.af

We will be spacing tables out, the chef will be wearing PPE and you will be expected to follow the rules posted by Straight To Ale and set by the state of Alabama. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone not adhering to the rules set by our location. BRING YOUR MASK. We have gloves for you to use during the class, and will provide hand sanitizer as well. In this two hour, hands-on class we will teach you how to make perfect sushi rice every time, how to make all of the sauces you love at the sushi bar (from eel sauce to bangbang), tell you where to shop and what to buy and discuss how to safely serve raw fish at home. We've taught this class for 8 years in 16 states to over 12,000 people. Each student will be served two rolls (we make one, you make one) and go home with a cheat sheet filled with tips, tricks and recipes as well as a shopping list that works for Amazon, Instacart and Shipt.

Straight To Ale

Founded by local home brewers in 2009, Straight to Ale has quickly grown to become one of Alabama’s largest production breweries. Starting small with a 3 Barrel brewhouse in 500 square feet in Huntsville’s Historic Lincoln Mill, we realized that we greatly underestimated Alabama’s thirst for locally produced craft beer and moved into a 10,000 square foot production facility on Leeman Ferry Road in south Huntsville. Over the next few years we added more and more fermentation capacity in that location until it was full, reaching 1,000 barrels of capacity. Though this location is no longer in operation, it was an integral step in our expansion.
