BEN CHAPMAN- 10.31.20 Originally from LaFayette, Georgia, Ben Chapman is a Nashville-based songwriter known for his soulful voice and country-funk guitar playing. He is heavily influenced by the sounds of the 70’s, pairing the groove-driven music of bands like the Allman Brothers with the hard-hitting lyric writing of artists like Guy Clark and Townes Van Zandt. Playing in bars across North Georgia since he was 17, Ben has always considered himself to be an old soul in the new age of country music. He has garnered quick attention from seasoned songwriters in Nashville, frequently playing Revival, the Listening Room, and other writer’s rounds around town. Ben is set to release new music in Spring 2020 and is looking forward to taking his music on the road.
