ERIC KIRKENDOLL- 1.23.21 Eric Kirkendoll is from a small town in Georgia where he grew up the 6th child in a lineup of 8. With the heart of an entertainer and a love of make others smile, he discovered the power of music and its effect on himself and others. After teaching himself to play the guitar as a teenager, and spending a few years honing his craft, he tried his hand at singing, which is when his passion for performing music really began. Early influences such as Damien Rice, Ray Lamontagne, and Dave Matthews shaped his musical development, but over time he has developed his own distinctive sound which appeals to a wide range of listeners.
In the recent years, Eric has stepped out into the music scene of Chattanooga, TN. He was the first musician to perform at The Westin where he plays regularly at the Alchemy skybar, and he has also performed at many of the street festivals hosted by The Westin. He has performed on many other stages across the Chattanooga area including The Southern Belle, Citron Et Sel, Rodizio Grill, and Big River Grill. He also regularly performs for weddings, private parties, and business parties around Chattanooga and the surrounding areas.
Listeners would describe Eric’s sound as folk-soul, but he doesn’t like to put himself in a box. His sets cover a wide range of genres and artists from Elvis to Tyler Childers to Dean Martin to Drake, always with his personal touch, so that anyone can enjoy! He also writes and performs original songs, which showcase the unique sound that he has to offer. From performing for a more intimate and quiet setting to playing on stage and pumping up the crowds, Eric’s specialty is enhancing the atmosphere and setting the tone for a truly special musical experience.
